When using the Tamarack8000C scanner in a 32 bit surrounding, the Tamarack 4.0A driver (in 'Tamarack.exe') works fine, allthough in fact it is an 16 bit driver. When there nevertheless should be problems, here are two work-arounds 1. Install CorelDraw with the option Kodak PhotoCD (scanner). This will install the right Twain-versions. When starting scanning, choose the right scanner driver (Tamarack). 2. If you do not own CorelDraw, use the contents of this package (twain.dll, twain32.dll, twain_32.dll, twunk_16 and twunk_32 - all following the 1.6 protocol) to replace the twain-files in your windows-directory. They work fine with CorelDraw7, TextBridge OCR 9, etc. Good scanning!
