This is where I found the driver for my USB UMAX 2100U scanner.

Should you experience any problems (Error 31) under Windows 2000, please download this file pv8630.sys and replace the ones in the folders "WinNT\system32" and "WinNT\system". www.umaxfirstaid.de/ftp/pv8630.zip Otherwise you can purchase the driver from UMAX for $28.00. I found this in an article in one of my magazines where the writer put in two or three websites overseas to get this and berated UMAX for unprofessional conduct for trying to sell it to US citizens.
