This driver works for US computers as well as UK computers. Download the English Version. Also you must Download XP Patch 2xxxupdater.exe - The driver you obtained form the UK and the patch you obtained are what you need to install the scanner. You will have email support for free to help you to install the scanner. If you should call the support line, since you did not purchase the driver from UMAX, you would have to pay the $25 for the installlation help. Now that that is out of the way, install the 3.55 driver and then exit the installation. Choose custom installation to select the components to install, only select to install the vistascan twain driver. Once you have exited the installation upon its completion, you will then need to install the patch for XP.
