Operating System: Mac OS (Note: might work with other versions of this os.)
UMAX Vista S-12 Driver. I am on a new Mac 867 using
File Contents: Classic OS 9.2.2 my old 8500
used the 2.4.3 driver in OS 9.0.4
just fine. however, using a third
party SCSI card, the newer G4
wouldn't find the scanner using the
2.4.3 driver Umax has. I searched
and found a driver at the site above
which downloads easily and will
install in a more modern interface,
locates the scanner and works
great! My system was finding the
scanner and the SCSI ID was not
changed... just the driver! best
uninstall all elements of the old
driver before installing the new
one.
